Packwood Annual Flea Market - Labor Day Weekend
Friday September 3rd to Monday September 6th
Hundreds of vendors will be on hand to display everything from antiques and furniture to clothing and bargain-priced new items. The annual Packwood flea market takes place on both sides of US Highway 12 in town as well as along side streets. Spend a day in the mountains during Memorial Day Weekend at one of the largest flea markets in the Western US.

Rainier Mountain Festival, Ashford, WA
Saturday September 11th and Sunday September 12th
Shop the post monsoon sale for heavily discounted camping and mountaineering gear and watch mountain technique demonstrations such as fitting a backpack, stove selection, boot fitting, and more. Plenty of music and food, alpine games like speed climbing featuring cash prizes, and over $10,000 worth of gear being raffled off with proceeds benefitting the Mount Tahoma Trail Association.

Crystal Mountain Oktoberfest, Crystal Mountain
Saturday September 11th
Great food, authentic Bavarian music, and a wide variety of beers from the Northwest and around the world make up the 2nd annual Crystal Mountain Oktoberfest. The festivities go from 1pm to 6pm with live music from 2pm to 5pm by Bavarian Village Band.

Free Admission to National Parks

In honor of Public Lands Day all national parks, national wildlife refuges, and many areas managed by the Bureau of Land Management offer free admission on September 25th, 2010. This is a great opportunity to come and see Mt. Rainier National Park for free!

The 4th Annual Blues, Jazz, Wine and Brews Festival, presented by the Mt. Rainier Visitors Center, takes place from noon to midnight at the Mineral Lake Event Center. This year's festival features 12 bands, microbreweries, local wineries, arts and craft vendors, and more!
Cost: $20 advance or $25 at the door. Discounts for military or food donations.

Photo Tours at Northwest Trek - Eatonville, WA

Photography enthusiasts grab your cameras! Northwest Trek Wildlife Park is having a special tour just for you. Windows are removed to prevent obstructions and seating is limited so there's plenty of room for tripods. Ticket price includes continental breakfast.

First Annual Fall Wine Tasting, Ashford, WA

The first Ashford "On the Road to Paradise" fall wine tasting will feature hard-to-find artisinal wines from small producers. Wineries such as Flying Dreams, Stringtown Cellars, Stina's Cellars, and the Washington Small Lot Co-op will all be on hand with a wide variety of styles of wine to sample.
